'Mindfulness has helped through this difficult time. I used to think I became stressed when I wasn't in control of a situation. Now I have learned that to be in control of my emotions, I actually have to make a conscious effort not to be in control. To let go and be able to accept things as they are,  is the key to being happy and less stressed. Particularly, being able to acknowledge uncomfortable thought and experiences, without feeling the need to push them away has been really useful.'

Joan - participant in an 8 week Mindfulness Course

' The course was delivered to a high standard. Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are so relevant to the work we do in the Community Mental Health Teams. Although I am not trained to deliver any kind of formal therapy, Mindfulness and ACT are something that I advocate, that there is a different way of dealing with problems and issues and ... I plant the seed regularly.'

Fran - participant in a 1 Day ACT workshop.

'I recently attended a mindfulness day with Pauline and Rita.  The course content was inspiring and their gentle delivery contained great clarity and direction. They created a warm and caring environment which allowed the group to feel confident in discussing individual thoughts and feelings. Two people who are passionate about their work and who exude warmth and generosity of spirit.'
