Mindfulness Awareness - Half-Day Programme
The main aim would be to provide an understanding and practical experience of Mindfulness. This workshop includes:

How to make sense of Mindfulness and brief history of Mindfulness movement

Basic principles and theory

Evidence of effectiveness and neuroscience research

Description of and background to the 8 week (MBSR) programme, using some experiential examples

How to take this further in one’s own life

Handouts providing an overall summary and description of practices

Mindfulness Awareness - Full-Day Programme
Mindfulness Awareness days provide an opportunity to practice in the company of others. They are suitable as either an introduction for people who are new to Mindfulness or as an enrichment of practice for those with prior experience.
Focus of the day: a combination of theoretical understanding (small amount) and experiential exercises (bigger focus).

4 Week - Mindfulness Course
This 4 week programme allows for increased interaction for participants, an opportunity to practice before each session and the facilitation of further discussions and understanding of Mindfulness.
To support weekly practices, participants are provided with a CD and workbook.

2 hours x 4 weeks
8 week - Lunchtime Mindfulness
This programme follows the 8 week MBSR Course, referencing the book ‘Finding Peace in a Frantic World’ which includes a CD with guided practices. Each session includes a review of the previous week’s practice, a brief talk about a specific aspect of Mindfulness and the practice of an exercise relevant to the particular week.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course 8-week course
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn who has taught Mindfulness courses for over thirty years. This is an in depth course, offering the whole range of Mindfulness practices.
The programme has been highly researched and has been found to be effective across a range of difficulties. Each session lasts for two and a half hours. During the course you will be encouraged to make mindfulness a part of your everyday life. We will provide handouts for each session, and CDs in order to support practice at home.

We can offer tailored workshops
These workshops incorporate the same underlying principles and philosophy of mindfulness and focus on increasing staff resilience and reducing work based stress.
These can be geared, for example, to a specific team or department.

1 Day - The art and practice of compassion-focussed Mindfulness
Theme - How mindfulness and compassion helps towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life and the positive effect of compassion on the brain. Several mindfulness related practices are included throughout the day.

1 Day - Creating a healthy brain and a life well-lived
Exploring how our lifestyles, the environment and our minds can affect the lives we lead and how these factors can shape the neural pathways in the brain. Includes mindfulness-based practices and strategies with a view to discovering ways in which we can lead more satisfying lives.

1 Day Sleep Workshop - The way to a good night's rest usIng Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT)
Explores why people experience sleep difficulties, some of the science behind it and what we can do to promote sleep and rest. For people wishing to explore this more and work on their own sleep difficulties, we offer a 6 week course.
